About You
Thoroughly enjoyed the insight, it was very useful in both learning leadership theory but also being able to apply those in practice. Very useful four days, in both learning about my own personal leadership style but also about how to interact with leaders of other styles.
EY always make an effort in making me feel valued and invested in. The staff are all very friendly and EY is not the real push or focus of the academy. We received a lot of tailored personal feedback that was very useful for my development.
Lots of group led feedback sessions but also we had EY staff being our group facilitators. We had at least 30mins of 1-to-1 feedback with them over the course of the academy and could see how we develop.
I was able to identify both the strengths I have as well as latent strengths which I could focus on and develop, helping my university studies. The leadership insights will greatly improve my career prospects and help with working in a business environment.
The Company
Having been run for four years already the course seemed well paced and well structured. I did not feel bored or too tired, during the academy. Evening socials were very fun, especially the surprise activity, which I won't ruin for you.
Everyone was very friendly, open and honest, within my group we had a safe and secure place to share ideas and experiment, allowing me to develop fully.
All the days were focused on developing our leadership, either through learning new theory or by experimenting new practices.
EY facilitator staff were with us throughout the academy and allowed us to learn as much as we wanted about their business area. The partner dinner also provided a great opportunity for us to get open and honest answers and opinions about EY and EY businesses.
Networking drinks and partner dinner helped me to appreciate EY staff in both formal and informal settings.
Content was able to help me to learn more about my motivations as a leader, the networking events allowed me to learn more about EY.
Everything Else
Reimbursed expenses for travel
Networking drinks with EY facilitator staff and partner dinner with more senior EY staff. Facilitators were always with us to let us know more.
Great amount of opportunity, drinks, dinner and surprise activity.
Facilitators were very open with the type of charity or activities they were involved in.
It has been such a useful and valuable experience and well worth applying for
