About You
It was really enjoyable, interactive and insightful. It was very intense, but I learnt a lot and they provided social activities in the evenings and everyone could have a laugh during the activities too, so there was never an element of 'assessment centre' and too much seriousness.
I felt really valued during this week, I was provided with a coach who watched me during activities and everyday they gave feedback and advice on how I could improve. They were also really friendly and down-to-earth, offering support and built a real connection with me. They invested a lot in us, and didn't try to force their brand upon us like other insights have, instead the course was all about us and our strengths/developments and helping us to become more self-aware.
We received way more support than I was expecting. We got a lot of 1-to-1 time with our coaches to get open and honest feedback and they were really genuine and got to know each of us on a personal level.
My most important skill to develop has been my confidence, which I have definitely developed over the last week and have learnt how to continue developing. This will be really useful in my degree as I need confidence to put myself forward in group tasks and to do public speaking/give presentations.
The Company
It was quite well structured. We were given timetables which laid out clearly what we would be doing every day and they stuck to the timing/schedule really well. They had slightly changed it from the year before so there were some areas that maybe didn't work as well as they did last year, for example one of the tasks was changed and this year it got a mixed response. But that it just them mixing it up and trying different things so it's fair enough. But also, it wasn't TOO structured. There was time for everybody to voice their opinions and ideas and ask questions, whilst sticking to the timeline of activities.
Really friendly, open, honest, warm, inviting, down-to-earth, genuine and just really appreciative of us.
Everything Else
My travel expenses were reimbursed and they provided accommodation and meals for the entire week.
