About You
Amazing!! EY really looked after us and the staff were very lovely and always helpful. The setting was beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the music workshop in the evening. I was particularly surprised by the SDI questionnaire and it was great getting feedback.
A lot. The staff I spoke to all remembered my name, and they genuinely wanted to know about you. The book they sent us as well as the easter egg was really sweet too, and the hoodie was a real bonus. They took care to make the programme about us and not about them. Hardly ay push to EY
Coaching sessions and regular feedback from the group facilitator (EY employee) and the group was great and as we got on, the group learnt to give more and more constructive feedback.
Beyond - definitely. I've learnt what strengths I have and what things I need to show a bit more of or do a bit less of which will help me in my societies at university as well as resolving conflict in daily life. I have definitely become more self-aware.
The Company
It was great. Not too structured that it was rigid, but there were always activities we had to finish and time to go outside. So it was not too intense and we had time to reflect, whilst getting everything done
Very relaxed and it felt like people genuinely wanted to help you become a better person. No one was stressed out, which made us feel more relaxed
A lot!! They spent a lot of money on us with accommodation and food and the music workshop as well as the hoodie and easter egg. Literally could not see what else they could give us.
There were many people to talk to, especially at the partner dinner, but we did not get to speak to everyone in different divisions. I also think that we should have done more case studies like the one on the last day to see a bit more about what each role entailed.
Yes it did! I have been on a previous insight at another company where the values were very forced, but at EY, they just let it shine through the employees which was the best way
Yes, but not because I learnt about the divisions, but because I was finding my natural aptitudes and latent strengths so could see where I would best fit in
Everything Else
Travel expenses reimbursed and accommodation and food al paid for
Yes, at the partners dinner and during the day
They were good, but could have been improved at speed networking as I didn't get the chance to speak to many employees. Maybe they should have a badge with their name and service line
Not really, but it was my responsibility to ask
YES! I have had a great time.
