About You
This was a really good experience and I am definitely glad I went on the course. The week was filled with like-minded people and I got on with everyone really well. The course was well structured and the organisers/facilitators were really helpful.
The course was all about "self-assessment" so I felt extremely valued throughout the course. This was perhaps a bit too much at times and the constant coaching and feedback made me feel a bit too "smothered"
Too much.
We learned several leadership, management and motivational techniques that are very relevant to the workplace. Although some of it was a bit theoretical and superfluous, I am glad I took part.
The Company
Very good structure. The course is in an extremely nice place and they literally are throwing money at you.
Good banter all round.
A lot of money.
I still have no idea what people at EY actually do. The course didn't have a big focus on EY or working in professional skills, which was a shame.
It was mostly self-development and leadership training, therefore it didn't really help in choosing a career path.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed transport expenses. All accommodation, dinner and 'bevies' were paid for.
Yah we met some senior members of EY and some recent graduates. Listening to both different parties gave a really good insight into how EY worked.
Social events were quality. The food was a bit dodgy at times, but the after event bar hours made up for it.
Yah.
Definitely. It's great week, it does push you out of your comfort zone. Again I want to reiterate that some of it is a bit too superfluous. It does feel like your back at school. The course part is okay (5/10) but the general atmosphere was brilliant and the other interns were really nice an fun.
