    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my experience while on the EY Leadership Academy. It is such a refreshing type of experience where the company for once really just focuses on bettering you.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt extremely valued during the whole time at the Leadership Academy whether it be during team tasks, coaching sessions, gaining feedback or even just having conversations at dinner. The heavy emphasis on helping each other and giving each other feedback makes for a very enjoyable setting.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • I was thoroughly supported while on the Leadership Academy. By receiving feedback from my peers daily and daily coaching sessions, as well as being able to ask any questions to all the facilitators I felt like there was never not enough support while on the programme.

    5/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The whole concept of leadership that we have been exposed to and really been able to develop has allowed me to really tackle what my strengths are and how best I interact with people depending on their personality types. Going forward I know that when leading a team or simply part of a team my contribution and teamwork is likely to be mies better.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The insight programme was kept to a very tidy schedule. Enough time to enjoy in the evenings, enough time at lunch and breakfast to fully take advantage of the buffet. There were never any points on the program where I didn't know what was happening or where I needed to be.

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The atmosphere on the programme was a very different one to what I'm typically used to when involved with such a large company. It was such a relaxed and comfortable environment to be in the whole week which really allowed me to learn as much as I possibly could.

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Through the little things that EY did for us, like giving us a hoodie, easter egg, book, the company was definitely willing to invest into us as individuals. This then made me more attracted to what the programme was really offering and the heavy amount of self realisation that I gained made me really realise how much I have been able to develop myself while on the Leadership Academy.

    5/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • While the program wasn't made to sell EY to me as a potential client, from the facilitators that did work at the company I was given a real insight that it must be such a fun and rewarding place to work.

    4/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • From the programme I was able to realise that EY truly do value all their staff and employee and this was really well put across by the time each individual took to get to know each and every one of us.

    5/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • Very valuable to give me an insight into what is now looking like a very potential career path. I know that if I were ever interested in professional services EY is very likely one of the places for me.

    4/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Throughout the programme I was exposed to many different people from the company at different levels of management also within different divisions within the company. So the ability to network was very thorough.
