The Role
I enjoyed it when I had work to do, but because of the nature of the job I had to wait on emails before I could do anything interesting.
Always praised for good work/ meeting targets. Everyone in the office is very friendly and welcoming.
To a large extent. I was briefed in depth when I started and help was offered throughout if I asked.
Varied. Depended on how many emails I had received. Sometimes very busy, sometimes little demand.
A good amount for my first role in this sector. I was in charge of the content I produced but it was always checked if I was unsure.
It will assist me beyond my degree. I have learnt about factors of the industry that I otherwise would have never known about.
The Company
Friendly and welcoming. Not stressful, everyone got on with what they were doing and seemed like they were enjoying it. It made the whole experience more relaxed and enjoyable. There was always a friendly face to have a chat with on a break.
Very organised as I was working in a small team, everyone knew their duties and explained mine well to me.
I was briefed in depth on what to do and how to do it. I didn't feel like 'the new person' as I was thrown straight into it which was great. I think the company invested a lot in me.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Not what I want to do in the future but the company as a whole was brilliant and would be great if I was interested in that sector.
The Culture
The other part time workers all attended my university so there was always something to talk about. All very friendly and understanding of each other.
Quite expensive but I live here anyway so I'm used to it.
Good nightlife but I live here anyway so I knew what to expect.
Always an invite to social events.
