About You
The insight was very interactive and participant led, which made it informative and fun. We got to play 'educational' games which were really challenging and we had to present.
The company made an effort to cater to everyone's individual needs and ensure we all felt comfortable. My opinions and view felt valued throughout the time we spent at RBC, by all the people we met and talked to.
There was a lot of support, representatives were always on hand to answer questions or help about the work they do or about advice for us. The guidance was extremely useful, helping me understand RBC more.
Playing a trading game helped us to understand the mechanics of trading on a deeper level. Also, participating in a brief and presentation allowed me to develop my skills and understand more about tasks that those at RBC undertake.
The Company
The day ran on time and it was structured well, there was always something to do and we covered many areas of the Investment Bank and Capital Markets Sector.
The atmosphere was really open and unpressured, it didn't feel like we were constantly being watched or pitted against each other.
Invested time, employees took time out to help us understand their work and skills needed to succeed in the industry. We mostly learned about work rather than develop skills on the insight.
Allowing us to talk to several recent graduates and professionals. We could ask a panel of recent graduates any questions we wanted to, allowing us to delve deeper into what working at RBC is like.
It helped me understand the values and aims of RBC, which further allowed me to understand the culture, which is different to many Investment Banks.
The content was very valuable, I am now more informed what would best suit me.
