About You
I loved the insight. It was an action packed day! Looked at both Global IB and Global Markets.
Everyone at RBC was friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome to the event.
So much! We got to listen to MDs, VPs and graduates, who all offered advice and guidance. Moreover HR gave us help and guidance in the games that we played.
I feel that my presentation skills have improved since the event, that should help me in my degree and in further life.
The Company
Very well structured. There was a clear plan and it was executed perfectly.
Great. Everyone was always happy, everyone was helpful, there were no bad vibes from anyone.
It was only a day so this was limited. But we heard from graduates what skills are good to have for this industry.
We spoke to many graduates who have been first years at university before and gone through the application process etc. They told us exactly what life is like at RBCCM
The company values were never pushed in our faces, the company culture was evident in every employee we met. It was refreshing for this.
I really want to apply for the summer internship following the insight day!
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for travel expenses, although had to sort out my own accommodation.
We had a networking session at the end of the day! We met a diverse range of employees.
They were very informative, very honest.
Yes, there are a lot of sports events. Rowing, running, cycling, tough mudder etc. Sounds ideal.
I would recommend this to any first year at university, friend or not!
