About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight programme. It was impressively organised and gave an invaluable insight into the industry. I have learnt an enormous amount and feel that I am in a superb position to consider my future options in the knowledge that I am well informed. This was a fully enjoyable programme.
During my time at the firm I was surprised at how valuable I was made to feel. On the first day, the recruiter remembered me from the Insight Day by name and welcomed me warmly. The whole week has revolved around us as students and a lot of highly impressive and busy people have given up time to talk to us which I am extremely grateful for.
The guidance and support structure on the insight was put in place such that whenever anyone had a question, there was someone to ask.
The information I have received has given me the ability to consider my future from a distance and to make informed choices about my career This is a position I am very happy to be in.
The Company
The organisation that went into the programme was impressive. I did not expect so much time and effort to be put into a programme designed for first year students and was really pleasantly surprised by this.
The atmosphere was professional but also relaxed. The rapport between the students grew as the week progressed and the atmosphere of intellectual curiosity has been a pleasure to be part of.
The firm invested the entire week into developing our knowledge of the industry.
The insight week was a perfect way to learn about the firm and discover the different roles on offer. The ability to ask questions to the employees in different areas was ideal for building an overall impression of the firm.
As I have explained, the insight helped me to gain a real insight into the company and its culture which is very difficult to gauge unless you get first hand experience of working in the firm.
As I have said, the content of the week was incredibly informative and helpful for my purposes of learning about the industry and the firm.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed expenses
There were various networking opportunities throughout the week with a variety of employees.
The networking opportunities were well organised and gave us the ability to ask our specific questions to employees and understand the culture of the firm.
The employees gave some insight of activities that they are involved with outside work. For example, the WIN society for women and there are also a variety of firm-specific sports teams!
Definitely.
