  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Felt very valued, but since we were always in a big group it's harder to say how much on an individual level. However, the HR team always listened and understood my needs and wants, making me feel comfortable

    3/5

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Very well structured, but felt that some things/days were rushed. A lot of different presentations from different divisions were squeezed into the same day which made it hard to know which information belonged to each division

    2/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • It was good

    3/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • They invested a lot in me and the other intern, which I very much appreciate. However, I don't feel like I received a lot of personal training, it was mainly informative. This I completely understand since it is an industry which is hard to understand unless you get to experience and work with it yourself - with the summer internship.

    3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • Not to a great extent, but i definitely got a better understanding of what banking is. However, I believe that you can never get a good experience unless you actually work within the company.

    2/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • To a relatively great extent.

    4/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • It was a lot to process and therefore slightly confusing but it gave me a better understanding of what I don't want to do within the banking industry. However, I'm still unsure about my exact future career path.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • I believe that I will be paid or reimbursed after the program has finished

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • Yes, we got the opportunity to do this every day.

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • They were very beneficial and in my opinion the best part of the program. The most successful however was when we were in smaller groups of 5-8 people when more personal and random questions could be asked. it was harder when we were asking questions in front of the whole class as well as during the Company Fair

    3/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Yes, this was presented very well

    5/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • Definitely!
