About You
The insight week has been challenging but nevertheless rewarding. I enjoyed the week from day. The interactive games and networking opportunities has been the highlight of the week.
I felt J.P. Morgan really took the effort to really get to know each candidate in the program and took the time to listen.
The support I received has been has been consistent throughout the week and I feel like I had the right guidance in terms of determing which career path is most suitable for me.
I believe the skills I have developed will stay with me beyond the point of securing a job.
The Company
Extremely well structured because at no time was it unorganised nor was it too overwhelming to absorb the information.
General atmosphere was very friendly but still challenging and stimulating. The atmosphere was never tense and I never felt out of place.
The company make sure that everyone has the opportunity to succeed during and after the program, so they really invest their time in training and developing the key skills.
All the representatives gave an insightful discussion about their role but it would have been more even more insightful if we could've visited the trading floor or had a look at the actual working environment.
The insight helped a lot in understanding the culture because interacting with managing directors and VP's and executive directives gave me a sense of what kind of personalities I could be working with. They have all been very approachable and willing to support individuals such as myself.
The context was extremely resourceful and detailed
Everything Else
I was not paid and I did not meet the requirements to received the reimbursed expenses
There were plenty of opportunities
Due to the program being just one week, the time was limited in terms of social events but there was at least two networking events.
Yes, I found out about the Business Resource Groups
Definitely as this has really guided me to a career path I feel suits my personality and I definitely will recommend it to my friends
