About You
UBS provided us students with an excellent introduction to the firm as well as the different roles and workings of the various divisions. We were also given opportunities to network and participate in workshops which I felt had really provided me with a more in depth understanding of the requirements of the industry and job.
The staff at UBS were very welcoming and open to questions and discussions. It was a very inclusive environment which showed how much the staff at UBS wanted to help us grow and understand the firm and industry better.
Staff at UBS provided us with great support such that we could go up directly to them to clarify our doubts or to ask them about their work in UBS in general. The amount of effort taken to address questions raised during the talks as well as the opportunity to job shadow with graduates also showed how patient and welcoming UBS was.
I got to learn more about the firm, job requirements and industry which I would never have known had I not attended the program. The skill sets I have developed would be applicable to whichever path I choose to go in the future because analytical skills as well as team work and innovation would come in handy when performing tasks or completing assignments. The information I have received provided me with a better understanding of the firm and industry and would aim in my decision in choosing the right path to go down to in the future.
The Company
The insight was structured such that it was very informative and interactive, such that we could clarify whatever doubts we had and make sure that we completely understood what the speakers were presenting on. The networking opportunities also allowed us to communicate with current staff in an informal way to gain greater understanding of their roles and experiences which was very insightful and valuable.
UBS Insight had an amazing atmosphere, such that everyone was very passionate about sharing their knowledge and providing us students with a greater understanding of the financial world. Overall, UBS has been nothing but welcoming and supportive.
We attended workshops to apply the skills we were taught and had the opportunity to job shadow, which was an invaluable experience as we had the chance to see how employees in UBS work and their job requirements as well.
The opportunity to job shadow graduates and learn about what they do on a daily basis opened my eyes to the working world and its requirements.
We were introduced to the bank and its key goals by various speakers and I feel that through interaction with UBS staff and listening to their personal experiences, we got to gain a much greater understanding of the company's culture
We were introduced to the various divisions and this was extremely valuable because I got to know more about the job scope and its requirements as well as the experiences the current employees have faced during their time in the firm. This allows me to make a better choice about my career in the future because I would know whether a particular role or division is suitable for me or not.
