    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Audi went beyond the call of duty to make my placement experience extra special. The role was interesting with flexibility to guide part of my job into fields of interest.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Everyone always said hello right up to the head of UK Operations. My department were great, we met socially outside f work and always had a laugh both in and out of the office. I really felt apart of the team.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • My own manager was grat, she met with me once a month to discuss progress, arranged for me to go on interesting projects and attend exclusive ebvents. However, its not guaranteed you would get the same manager if you get this placement. However, the whole team are great and devoted to the students development so i presume whoever manages the student would be good!

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I had some basic duties which took up around two thirds of my time, the rest were ad hoq duties and project work. However, in my last month i found work a little thin on the ground beyond my basic duties.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Duties are not too testing after training but essential to the brands operation. You are responsible for sales reporting whihc is reported directly to all the major stakeholders of the bsiness, of which strategy is formulated from. So its essential the data is correct.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have greatly developed my IT, Business and social skills greatly. A placement teaches how to work effectively within a business, something books cannot teach.

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Great. Friendly but also professional when it got intense. Its a really motivating office.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Great, the recruitment process was quick and professional. Only quibble is some students didn't get the correct company cars on time, but i wasn't affected by this.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • It was a case of if i could justify that a course/training would benefit me and consequently the business, Audi wiould pay for it.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Subsidised Canteen

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I want to go back there but at the moment they have no graduate scheme (Although its re-introduction is under discussion)! So it will have to be through internal contacts. However, the placement i experienced is really sellable to other graduate recruiters should it not work out. So i have no regrets.

    2/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • I went out more with the brand than with the whole student group , but within that group i made some great friends.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Fairly good for Milton Keynes, rent is around 300 pounds a month for a nice house, this gives you money to party with taking into account the salary you get.

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Good, the bars are great clubs are a bit samey however, theres no uni in MK as well so its a bit more of a mature crowd.

    4/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • I played football every week and went on loads of corporate do's, one to paris to watach take that to celebrate the companies 2007 sales milestone! However, this was a one off.
