About You
My time spent at the EY Leadership Academy was amazing! I learnt so much about myself within the 4 days that I never would have expected. EY ensured everyone felt welcome and comfortable by making sure the atmosphere remained relaxed at all times.
The Academy really focused on the development of all the participants and I feel as though everyone received equal attention and were given the same opportunities.
We received support/guidance throughout our whole time at the Academy but only to the extent required so that a certain level of independence remained. If you ever needed more, the people at EY were more than willing to help.
All the skills would be required in real life situations and therefore are more than valuable.
The Company
Structure was really well done. You knew exactly what you were doing and when. There was never any time to be aimlessly wandering about - we were always kept busy.
Always very friendly and welcoming. Couldn't have felt more at ease.
You can understand that the exercises and tasks completed would be useful as a leader at all levels. All could be applied to life both outside and within the world of work.
For EY it helped you realise the extent they prioritise their culture and the wellbeing of their employees. In the general world of work, you were put into situations to complete tasks that required the work of a team made up of different personalities, as a result we learnt how to perform when conflict arises.
EY clearly invest in the wellbeing of their employees and prioritise creating a friendly working enviroment.
My future career path hasn't changed but I have now developed the skills that can help fast track my progress.
Everything Else
We had a dinner that a partner and a number of EY graduates attended.
They were good. A relaxed environment was made so everyone felt they were able to approach everyone with ease. Activities helped the group find a lot more about one another.
I didn't here about any but sure I would have if I had asked.
100%. The most amazing and valuable experience that most defiently will influence my future career.
