About You
Enjoyed the insight very much. Well organised, good fun, good people (both in terms of EY representatives and other students). Great programme.
Highly valued. There is a large focus on individuals, our performance and how we can improve. No individual is left out, everyone is given an opportunity and feedback on their contributions
Lots of guidance and support. As is above, students receive a lot of feedback to improve themselves. Everybody is considered important, irrelevant of their personality, nobody lacked support or guidance on the EY leadership academy.
Lots and lots. The EY leadership academy helped me to develop really strong leadership skills, improve my understanding of myself and self-awareness. There was also an emphasis on your relationship with others. These are all really useful and relevant skills and are ones that I will use in the future.
The Company
Very well structured. For a topic that could be very wishy-washy, the programme was really well run, well organised and well planned. Each day built on the previous one, leading to a really useful programme overall.
Great atmosphere. Students and EY representatives were great. Lots of evening events with a fun atmosphere, not too corporate or full of importance.
Invested lots in me. Stayed at a really good hotel and a lot of time, money and effort was invested in us, especially considering that many students may not go on to work at EY.
Quite well, there was not a massive selling of the company, its values, etc. at the programme, which was of huge benefit to the programme because it wasn't full of corporate advertising. Still gained an impression of the company by interacting with EY people thoughout the day and at the evening events.
Please see above
Very valuable - not in terms of telling me whether I want to do consulting or audit, etc. but more in terms of self-reflection and considering what suits my strengths and motivations.
Everything Else
I was paid and reimbursed
yes at every evening event and with the EY representatives assigned to our group throughout the programme.
Good fun. It was really up to you, if you wanted to find out more about the company and its roles then you could do that, if you wanted to relax and chat then that was possible too. A great way to run networking-type opportunities.
Yes by talking to EY employees and asking them about their lives, work/life balance and activities organised as part of EY aside from work.
Yes, great programme, really useful, perfect length.
