About You
I had a wonderful experience during the insight week. I learned a lot about EY's values while gaining insight into my own leadership strengths and qualities. During the day, we were coached by experts in leadership and had the opportunity to develop and explore our own leadership tactics. At night, we had fun, interactive activities where we were able to establish a relationship with the other students on the scheme and talk to employees at EY.
EY invested a lot of time and resources into ensuring that we had a good experience and got the most out of the program. We were placed in small groups with an employee at EY who facilitated our activities and responded with helpful feedback. The EY employees truly took the time to get to know each student on the scheme and address any questions that were raised.
Every day we had feedback sessions with our small groups with the facilitator where we were given information on our strengths and areas for improvement. The feedback was incredibly insightful and helped me develop as an individual and professional. I was also advised on possible career paths and gained insight into life at EY by speaking to professionals in the field.
The focus of the scheme is to help students develop leadership strengths. In that respect, I have grown exponentially and feel better prepared to return to university equipped with the tools to succeed. The program was not focused on technical career skills. The insight and skills I have gained will stay with me in the future, regardless of my career path.
The Company
The insight was extremely well organized. From pre-arrival to departure every detail was intricately coordinated.
Very casual and relaxed. The focus was on personal development and was a very accepting and comfortable environment.
From speaking with people who work at EY I gained an insight into the day-to-day operations at the firm. Additionally, I learned about the different departments, the values, and cultures of EY.
EY is clearly dedicated to people and the development of its workers. I was able to learn more about EY's priorities through this scheme.
Through this program I learned a lot about myself and the culture of EY that gave me a better idea of my future.
Everything Else
Yes, there were networking opportunities throughout the program!
Very engaging and useful! The relaxed culture created natural networking opportunities.
Yes, definitely!
