    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I have thoroughly enjoyed my insight week with J.P.Morgan due to the week being so well organised, informative and fun. Each day has been different and my time at the firm was fully utilised - there has not been a moment where I have felt my time has being wasted. Every member of staff has been friendly and more than willing to spend time teaching me more about J.P.Morgan and the Investment Banking industry as a whole. 'Spring into Operations' went above and beyond my expectations.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • From day 1 I was treated like a J.P.Morgan employee. I was respected, valued and looked after throughout the whole week. The team, especially Clare Crumpler (Campus Recruiter) had evidently put a huge amount of time and effort into the week, and that was so appreciated.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • The week was well organised, clear and structured. Each member of staff was approachable and more than willing to help where necessary. Therefore I felt fully guided and supported throughout the week.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • As previously mentioned, the week was extremely informative and I have learnt a great deal. In particular, I have appreciated learning more about the basics of an Investment Bank - and more specifically how the Operations department is structured in J.P.Morgan. In addition to learning about the firm, we received sessions on personal development, CV and interview hints and tips, and various other skill sessions. Other activities included group exercises, where i learnt a great deal about team work and how to perform in an Assessment Centre.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The firm had evidently invested time and money into the insight week, and that was so appreciated. I received a personal handbook for the week, a specific J.P.Morgan notebook and a personal name badge. The week was informative as well as a great chance to learn new skills - it did feel like a training week as well as an 'insight' week.
