About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight!
I was treated with respect and as part of the team during the whole process.
I had the opportunity to speak to many different professionals about all types of roles. This provided me with plenty of guidance and support.
I learnt many social skills and presentation skills. These should help me in the professional world and ensure I can be a better candidate for future opportunities.
The Company
The planning was absolutely awesome! Clare Crumpler organised the event very well. She managed to move certain events depending on the needs of all the attendee's. I would well recommend this spring week to anyone interested in JP Morgan at any level or area.
At first I presumed it would be similar to "The Apprentice" where everybody would be willing to step on top of eachother to get internships. However I was completely wrong. Everybody from the candidates to the staff were amazingly kind and fun to chat with. You feel comfortable! One thing I would say is to be careful of this, I at some stages was tired and relaxed a bit specifically during a point where I was being assessed ( easier to do than you think!!). Be on the ball, but enjoy your time!
They funded all the events and provided me with everything needed to go about the week well.
I understand considering I had a range of work shadowing. But if I had more than a week then I would have liked to do more work shadowing because I didn't cover all the areas.
I am very convinced I understand JP Morgan's culture and have been shown it in excess over the week.
Useful for operations but not in other areas. However this is to be expected because it is a Spring into Operations week!!
Everything Else
I wasn't paid and didn't need any payment!
Plenty!!
Very fun! Got to get to know all your colleagues and there was a variety of yummy food.
Marginally. This is because I didn't ask lots. Definitely know there area areas for actives outside of work.
Absolutely!! Well worth every day spent there. Staff are brilliant!! Clare Crumpler, Lesley Reekie and Kymberley Campbell were all very supportive and enjoyable to work with,
