About You
I have enjoyed the insight, and it has given a great life life experience of the world of finance.
I feel valued in the sense that everyone is very welcoming, and trying tier best to respect me as if I was part of the staff.
The staff have all been very kind, and willing to give their time to answer any questions. They have actively gone out of tier away to assist in this support.
Studying economics, this programme has allowed to me recognise where theory applies to real life finance.
The Company
Although various experiences where planned, the majority of staff I met are not aware about the programme itself and what we are meant to be doing. I have had no work set throughout the week to help me feel like part of the team.
Very open, exciting and enjoyable mainly due to the kind staff.
They have spent a fair amount of time trying to explain their desk and the products they offer.
A great deal. You really experience the day to day roles within the sales and trading team, and how it might feel to actually work there.
Very much so; very opening, welcoming and knowledgeable.
Useful due to the actual experience of sitting on the desk during market hours.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed expenses.
We had a bowling night and networking lunch with managers; good opportunities to network.
Bowling was very enjoyable, whilst the lunch was slightly rushed.
No, unfortunately was not discussed.
I would recommend this experience; in terms of hours, it can be tough work but it is very valuable in understanding the atmosphere within sales and trading.
