    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • the insight was a lot of fun. not only did we get to know more about the firm but also a good chance to explore the biggest city of Scotland. the presentations on the current technologies were very helpful, however also very technical so I wasn't able to understand completely. The work shadowing was very helpful as well. I personally enjoyed the Agile game a lot. It really encouraged everyone in the work to brainstorm for strategies and collaboration, etc.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • JPMorgan employees are all very friendly and helpful .This is particularly important for me as I am new to the city and the firm culture. I feel very welcome since Day 1. My buddy was very very friendly and funny so that gave me a lot of fun times.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Very clear guidance since the first day. All the instructions are made clear and straightforward. Anytime I need help there's always someone around and willing to help.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The Spring week made me realise that my current knowledge has a lot to improve and I have to try out more programming languages. It also helps me in terms of collaboration, teamworking skills and presentation.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The program itself is well structured, however maybe we could have been given the handbook before coming so we have a better idea of what's happening. Also there should've been more time on some sections such as the work-shadowing (2 hours wasn't enough). I also think it is important to give us a copy of all the presentations we listened to throughout the week so we can review on our own time and do some extra research.
