  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Very much so, great overview of more or less all of Deloitte's service lines in friendly environment involving a lot of active case studies.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Felt very valued by the firm, with meals all provided as well as hotel accommodation and all transport. All employees additionally very friendly and happy to help.

    • Information provided was very detailed and helpful in giving guidance. If one wanted to seek individual guidance from a certain employee everyone was happy to offer their help.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I would expect the information received to go a long way in advising at least the first step of a future career. Additionally the opportunity to work in a team and present on several occasions will have improved certain key skills.

    • Well-structured and fully adhering to a timetable we received on the first morning.

    • Very friendly. The firm came across as a hugely enjoyable and friendly place to be with participants also feeling very comfortable.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Only a two-day insight and all information provided that one could want in such a short period of time. Opportunity to engage in teamwork and presentations will certainly help skills and development.

    • Case studies gave a good insight as to what each department does on a more regular basis. All employees happy to discuss what they do with us too.

    • Amazing atmosphere and rapport between employees. Made working at Deloitte a really attractive proposition primarily for the atmosphere and general feeling around the place.

    • Quite helpful in terms of information provided and opportunities to speak to employees.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • All travel expenses reimbursed up to £50.00. Hotel accommodation, lunch on both days, dinner on the first day, breakfast on the second day, and taxis from the hotel to the office all provided by Deloitte.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes, either individually if someone particularly wanted to speak to one of the employees they had come across, or over dinner on the first evening.

    • Wide variety of employees came so opportunity to speak to several different people from different backgrounds.
