Spring into Deloitte Review

The two day insight was well structured and planned. It gave me insight into the different departments within deloitte which you don't get online. The business games were enjoyable and also extremely beneficial to us regarding further work with deloitte.

Everyone was really nice and welcoming. very relaxed atmosphere during both days which was a lot of fun. The networking dinner was the same, it was very easy to talk to deloitte staff both about deloitte and other topics. I had the partner on my table and he was extremely nice and happy to talk to us all night.

information given was very explicit, clear and consise. The amount of opportunities we were given to ask questions was more than enough and very helpful indeed. We received interview tips for further applications as well.

Working in teams to evaluate various pieces of informaiton from many different sources to reach an objective that was predefined with quality and accuracy making sure that all members of the team were on board and understood what tasks had to be undertaken and in which specified time frame.

Very well, both days had an itinerary although some activities overran and so we missed out on some break.

It was pretty relaxed yet productive. The first day especially was quite tiring but unlimited coffee saw me through it.

In terms of money spent it was nice as hotel and food was providing which makes you feel as though deloitte do want to invest in you. Although there was no real training as this would come later on; perhaps on the summer vacation scheme. Although we have been given tips and advice on the interview for this.

Being able to talk with recent graduate and experienced staff really provided an in depth picture of what it would be like to work and Deloitte. The majority of summer interns stay on which demonstrates what a good place it is to work.

The fact that first year spring interns had the chance to sit down and talk to a partner for hours just shows how at deloitte everyone is valued. Also all the staff were happy and it was obvious everyone was enjoying their work.

Content was very in depth and no stone was left unturned. Although no real coverage on deloitte real estate which is what i want to do. But if you ask the staff can answer almost all your questions instantly.

travel expenses can be reimbursed up to £50 although i didn't bother because i felt the treatment was good enough with the hotel and meals that it was worth it.

The amount of networking opportunites given were more than enough and really good. It allowed us to think of questions that we could ask at a later time. Although we weredoing "business games" it was more than okay to step out and talk to anyone; this gave a good opportunity to ask the staff any questions.

The dinner at the hotel was fantastic, the atmosphere was great. The plan to rotate around deloitte employees from different service lines was a fantastic idea.

Yes, deloitte are great for this. One of the consultants organising a skydiving trip. By the sounds of it deloitte give you the chance to get involved with anything you want if you have the motivation to organise it.

YES without a doubt, really insightful and hopefully helpful in my further application to deloitte.
