  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • A very enjoyable experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and ensured that it was a good learning experience.

    • Although we were not adding immediate value to the firm they stressed the importance of securing talent for the future.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • HR were always present and willing to ask any questions. Furthermore there was always opportunities to ask questions to representatives when perhaps you didn't fully understand a concept they were expalaining.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I developed a deeper understanding of the banking industry, and particpating in assesment exercises allowed me to develop teamwork and reasoning skills.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • There was a clear structure. We were always busy but had adequate breaks. However, some people were not given there shadowing choices.

    • Everyone was friendly and all participants got on well.

    • They provided skills sessions and the opportunity to learn from experienced employees.

    • I learnt a lot more about the various roles on offer.

    • The company culture was clear. It was friendly, with a focus on values and behaving in the right way.
