About You
A very enjoyable experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and ensured that it was a good learning experience.
Although we were not adding immediate value to the firm they stressed the importance of securing talent for the future.
HR were always present and willing to ask any questions. Furthermore there was always opportunities to ask questions to representatives when perhaps you didn't fully understand a concept they were expalaining.
I developed a deeper understanding of the banking industry, and particpating in assesment exercises allowed me to develop teamwork and reasoning skills.
The Company
There was a clear structure. We were always busy but had adequate breaks. However, some people were not given there shadowing choices.
Everyone was friendly and all participants got on well.
They provided skills sessions and the opportunity to learn from experienced employees.
I learnt a lot more about the various roles on offer.
The company culture was clear. It was friendly, with a focus on values and behaving in the right way.
Content was very valuable in narrowing down what my preffered division was.
Everything Else
I was paid and reimbursed
Networking was common but often there was too many people to each employee.
One networking event that provided little opportunity to speak to employees on an individual basis
