    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It is surely an incomparable experience to understand what it means to work in all of the various divisions. Indeed, I appreciated the fact that I was givenan Insight into all Barclays businesses, understanding which one is the most suitable to me.

    • All of the activities were very challenging and HR team was always valuing us, apart from networking events.

    • A lot, the overall organizations of the activities was very well definied and HR team was always there to support our questions.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • This program has really enlarged my knowledge in the field and helped me understand which skills are the most useful for the division I am getting interested in.

    • It was very very clear, the program was well structured and all of the details were taken in consideration.

    • Very welcoming, both my mates during the Spring Week and people from Barclays were very nice.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Barclays has invested a lot on each of the people taking part in the spring week, we were always given feedback.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • I think the most useful parts were the networking events were we had the freedom to look for representatives in the fields which interested us the msot and the work-shadowing activities. I would have maybe done three work-shadowing instead of just two.

    • Again a lot, since the very first day we were exposed to Barclays culture and values, also during some activities sessions.

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?

    • Very valuable, I would have maybe done a sort of one-to-session with HR provinding feedbacks and opinions about the roles thatin their opinion were most suitable to us.

    • Accomodation and travel reimbursed

    • Yes, several speed networking events and two work-shadowing.
