About You
A wide range of activities and presentations throughout the week, allowing a holistic and varied experience.
Limited capability to be useful for the bank, however treated very professionally throughout.
Not in terms of studies however clearly showed the financial knowledge needed to work within the bank.
The Company
Very well structured, clear timetable which was enacted throughout the week.
Tentative at the start of the week, but as more active sessions were run where the group was required to interact the atmosphere changed to become a more open pleasant environment.
Provided resources and were very open to questions about the direction we should be heading in terms of development. Barclays ensured a wide range of experiences and education about the banks activities.
A combination of presentations and taster sessions mixed with contact time with employees and 2 work shadowing opportunities meant we revived a comprehensive view of life at Barclays.
A session dedicated to core values was reinforced thought the week through employees and presentations.
Everything Else
Networking events throughout the week ensuring regular contact with employees across all business areas.
Plenty and varied, different approaches to networking such as speed networking or an evening.
