    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I found the Two Day Insight Programme to be really enjoyable, it was very informative and gave a detailed outline of KPMG and the kind of jobs which are involved in a career at KPMG. This was extremely useful since I was originally unsure which business area would suit me the best.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • During my time at KPMG I was made to feel valued as senior employees take time out of their day to give presentations and they were all very enthusiastic when questions were asked about their personal experience with KPMG. As well as this the employees and graduates we keen to help in the skill sessions which were designed to help develop skills to make future applications and interviews easier.

    5/5

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • On both days which I attended the Insight Programme there were two or more employees available if any guidance with a given task was required. They often made their way around the groups themselves to ensure that everyone was clear on the task given and to listen to the progress you were making on the tasks within your assigned group.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I feel that some of the skills learned from having the opportunity to attend the Insight Programme will allow me to perform better in interviews and team working exercises. These skills will be particularly useful when applying for the Summer Vacation Programme.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • The Insight Programme was designed to allow you to find out more about the company KPMG itself as well as the different types of client work they are involved in throughout each of the business areas. I found that this was delivered in such a way that by the end of all the presentations I was sure of the business area best suited to me. Also, on the first day you get the opportunity to be involved in some group discussions during the skills sessions and this was particularly useful because it allowed you to get to know the people you were going to be working with for the team exercise the following day.
