About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the spring week with an excellent mix of talks from current employees and shadowing opportunities within various areas of the bank.
The employees were extremely friendly, whether that be the people we shadowed or people we networked with.
We were well supported by everyone on the programme.
The spring week gave me significant additional knowledge about both the company and industry to assist me both academically and professionally.
The Company
Well structured - see number 1.
The staff, HR recruitment team, and other employees made it a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
It was reported that over 100 current Barclays employees had been involved in the program showing the level of investment and respect we received.
That is quite a difficult task and was probably the weakest part of the program.
Significantly - there was strong emphasis on the 5 Barclays values.
Difficult - mainly due to my own indecision.
Everything Else
£250 to cover any of the weeks expenses.
There were numerous opportunities including a designated networking evening.
There were no organised intern social events but see above for general networking.
Yes, although this was a weaker aspect of the company.
Yes- was a thoroughly enjoyable and informative experience.
