Thoroughly enjoyed the insight. It was very informative and provided the chance to ask a lot of questions which Barclays professionals were always happy to answer.

The staff at Barclays and interns were all very supportive and friendly helping to create an environment in which I felt very valued.

The programme was very structured so there was always support in this sense and representatives were happy to answer questions. Employees also offered their emails and contact details as they are willing to offer continued guidance even after the insight.

I developed skills of team working, managing pressure and gained confidence which will help me.

Barclays used many resources and more significantly many staff and key speakers to develop us and our understanding.

There's a great emphasis on company culture especially Barclays' values which staff explained are instilled into business.

Gave a great insight into the industry but I am still unsure as to other industries although the placement really helped in confirming the variety of roles in banking and those which I feel I would enjoy.

The social atmosphere was very friendly but networking was slightly difficult because of the difficulty in finding the staff in particular areas of interest of ours to talk to.

Q and A panels answered this question and how the company encourages charity work too by giving employees time off.

A very informative and well-structured insight, but most importantly very friendly and willing to help staff as well as new friends I've made here who I've really enjoyed getting to know and will keep in touch with.
