About You
It was excellent - an interesting and wide range of activities. There was a lot to learn and it was very nice to meet lots of people from numerous teams around the bank.
I genuinely felt valued - many people from analysts to MDs took time to speak with me. There were kind and helpful; it helped me to learn a great deal about the bank. The attitude of employees made me more keen to work at BAML.
There was a good level of guidance. I would have liked to do another investment banking case studies with the bankers to gain some more guidance/insight into the industry. Overall, it was very good though.
I feel the knowledge I have gained will give me a good platform to do my own research and advance my technical skills about the industry.
The Company
It was well structured but it would have been really nice to have had an extra divisional day. This was what I felt was most useful. However, the other sessions, especially the presentation skills session on the first day, proved to be useful; and it fitted in well with the other activities.
It was very good, the employees of the bank - both recruiters and bankers - were kind and helpful. The other interns were very good, it was both enjoyable and interesting to work with them.
It was very useful to receive guidance from employees of all levels. The time and effort invested by the bank was admirable.
By speaking bankers it was possible to gain a good insight into working life at BAML.
The culture was one of things I enjoyed most about BAML. Through working with bankers during the divisional days and speaking to them, the excellent culture became clear.
The insight was extremely useful, I am now absolutely sure that I want to work in investment banking.
Everything Else
There was no need for me to be reimbursed.
Many opportunities to meet numerous people of different levels and teams
Excellent
This was not a particularly discussed area.
A very good programme to be involved in, would definitely recommend.
