  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Wonderful people in an inspiring environment. Everyone was really motivating and seemed to be loving their work there.

    • We were treated like talent that has to be cherished by everyone, even by high ranking people.

    • We were assisted by a wonderful HR team that was present at all times for whichever need.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • As days go by and you become more comfortable with talking to MDs and others, you realise that university presentations will be a joke.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • They give you the opportunity to explore different areas within the company in order for you to make a better choice. You will have the opportunity to take part in case studies, panels, presentations, work shadowing and networking events.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Everyone I talked to loved this experience. Everyone was extremely motivated and excited about what they were doing. I remember talking to an MD that said "We are feeling like rockstars, we are hiring the best people and BAM! we get the best deals". Even though they may have seemed a bit cold at first, pretty soon they opened up at they showed us their funny and relaxed side. I had talks about science, sports and even video games with people from different industries.

    • Lots of resources were spent for the interns.

    • We work shadowed people working in the firm for a couple hours.

    • Employees were really enthusiastic in emphasising the company culture so we were really exposed to it.

    • Fundamental.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I did not require any expense to be reimbursed, however I know people did get their travelling expenses covered.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Plenty. After every presentations employees would stick around to chat.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?

    • We had a 3 hours dinner with high ranking people within the firm. Some of them stayed even 5 hours just to chat and have a relaxed drink with us.

    • Yes we were told about all different types of activities and clubs within the company.
