  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Useful insight into the various divisions within the bank. Learned a lot and met lots of nice people.

    • Didn't really have any responsibility but talks were interesting

    • Communication was quite poor and it was not made clear that you would be unable to swap divisions.

    • Was very useful to gain insight into the different divisions to decide where best I would fit in in the future.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Mainly consisted of talks by various people which were interesting. Each day had roughly the same format.

    • All other people on the insights program were friendly and easy to chat to.

    • Talks were interesting and gave an insight but had little hands on experience.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • I was reimbursed travel expenses and given a hotel room as I live outside the M25

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Lots of opportunities but not long enough to form a worthwhile network.

    • Went bowling on Monday night which gave the chance to chat further with other insights people
