About You
I very much enjoyed the Insight program at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. I was able to meet representatives from different lines of business, and they were very supportive. I was able to visit the office and particularly enjoyed work shadowing on the trading floor. The agenda was seamless with a fine balance of presentations and interactive activities such as case studies.
I felt very valued during my time at the company.
Members of the HR team were constantly on site to answers any questions regarding the recruitment process, or the logistics of the program. They were also very supportive in helping me find the appropriate member of the bank when I have questions about specific divisions of the business.
The public speaking and creative thinking sessions were led by professionals who were trained to teach these skills. They were very interactive and effective.
The Company
There was an agenda for each day.
Members of the HR team, and members of the Bank were very friendly and supportive. I was constantly encouraged to ask questions and network with members of the bank.
There was a public speaking training session and another training session on creative thinking. The Insight Week was not a PR show, but rather an actual opportunity for participants to get to know the bank, and vice versa.
Work shadowing was very effective. Other times there were case studies.
The program was very successful in doing so. Not only was I able to understand the general culture of the entire company, I was also able to experience cultures that are specific to each division.
I was able to meet representatives from every line of business.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed travel expenses.
Yes, the Insight Week placed strong emphasis on these networking opportunities.
Members of the bank were very supportive and friendly.
