About You
It was so busy, full of activities and useful too since I learnt a lot!
I felt relatively valued by everyone, but not to the extent that I would definitely be apart of the firm obviously!
I had so much support not only from HR and other Spring Interns, but a lot of the employees who were in the divisions I was interested in.
A lot of the skills would require more knowledge and practice but in terms of my degree, a lot of the models I've been learning were mentioned but proved to be wrong in Markets since more than 50% of what happens seems to be human psychology and confidence!
The Company
Overall, it was extremely organised, all HR staff knew exactly what they were doing and we always started and finished at the same time they said we would so was structured really well!
Everyone was genuinely friendly and just willing to help, some more than others of course but the Spring Interns were all lovely!
It was only a week so not as much but I'm sure they would've done it more if it was a Summer Internship.
Some people definitely gave an insight about this, not only about the division but also about what the people are really like and who they work with etc!
I think each division shows their culture and what they're like in and out of work, especially on the Wednesday evening when we had a 3 course meal with some of the employees, which really helped me decide whether this was the right place or not for me!
Definitely really helpful, I didn't know a lot about markets but I definitely know more about it. It would be an amazing opportunity if I had an opportunity to spend more time there.
Everything Else
I have to fill in a form to be reimbursed which I will do so!
Yes definitely, we had networking meals and sessions every day!
Some were more fun than others since we got more time to get to speak to them and know them more but overall, really good thank you!
A bit, but it would've been good to find out more if we had the time!
No doubt, it's such a good opportunity to learn more about the functions in the bank and meet people who can tell you exactly what they like!
