About You
This programme has really provided a great insight into the life and work a UBS, it was very engaging and intellectually challenging. There was a good balance of industry specific activities and team building/networking activities.
We were given every opportunity to improve, definitely felt that we were given as much time and attention as we could get.
We were free to ask questions, especially during the shadowing where we got to see how our chosen business area works
It improved my knowledge of the banking to a very big extent, I now know if my chosen area is right for me or not, and I know what to focus on going forward with my studies.
The Company
Started with some good introductions, then we had workshops of all individual business areas, and then the work shadowing, so it had a nice curve. There were some less serious activities as well which helped with the teambuilding and to have a bit time off the serious parts
Everyone was very nice and enthusiastic including employees and us. The atmosphere was very positive it seemed like everyone was having fun while learning a lot.
For a five day programme they provided us with as much time and money invested as they could.
Meeting a wide variety of people provided lots of information about what work and life at UBS is really like.
There were lot of people talking about the culture and they provided a great insight into what it is really like.
The five days provided sufficient information to all of us to decide whether we liked banking, our chosen area or not.
Everything Else
We had paid accommodation nearby and travel costs were either paid beforehand (flights) or reimbursed.
The work shadowing provided a great opportunity to network with UBS employees as well as the other networking sessions.
There was a nice social night for the participants, and some other networking opportunities to meet with people in some really nice settings.
Yes, there was a quite lengthy talk about volunteering and other opportunities.
Definitely. Even if some people do not know much about banking this programme gives a good introduction to the industry as a whole and then UBS specifically. The people were really nice got us and each other engaged, there was a good mix of people a good chance to make new friends a valuable connections
