About You
Aside from the occasional presentation, the whole week was very insightful and employees of BAML more than often gave their honest opinions on things which I appreciated a lot.
I guess as valued as a spring week intern can feel.
More than enough!
The information received and insights gained will be of great value for me going forward. The week was a real eye-opener in terms of what I want to do for a living and what to expected of those future choices.
The Company
Good!
Very pleasant. The other spring weekers where very nice and outgoing. Employees of BAML very honest, opinionated, and insightful. Exactly what I wanted going into it.
Presentations, case studies, work shadowing, networking opportunities.
Even though employees would try to be as honest as possible, this is something that is just to hard to convey in such short time. Especially in such a volatile industry as the finance industry.
It wasn't in your face at all. But keeping your ears and yes open throughout the week and speaking to as many people as possible gave you great insight as to how the culture is at BAML.
Extremely valuable. I went into the week thinking I knew exactly which division I was most interested in and even which specific role. Networking with different people throughout the week completely turned me around to a division I earlier knew very little about and am now set on pursuing.
Everything Else
My travel expenses were reimbursed.
Many! Both at the office and out for drinks or dinner.
Laid back and fun.
Yes - in terms of voluntary work and some social things as well.
Absolutely!
