The Role
extremely enjoyable year, difficult to be away from friends and family but over all worth doing a placement at GSK.
options were listened to even though we were students and didnt have as much chemistry knowledge. treated like a full time regular member of staff as we carried out the same work.
supervisors were very helpful and so was the rest of the lab, always someone there to ask questions.
varied, if there was deadlines approaching them very busy. other times i had lots of time when waiting on senior staff making decisions on projects. this varies between students too.
responsible for reaching your own targets on time.
helpful for final year project. hopefully having work experience will show its use when applying for jobs.
The Company
