  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The insight week was extremely enjoyable. It was an amazing opportunity to learn about the investment banking industry and to meet interesting students from all over the Europe.

    • I got the feeling that every single employee wants to hear about my story and why I want to work in IB. They would voluntarily spend their precious time to meet us.

    • Everyone was eager to answer even the most obvious questions.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I certainly developed my presentation skills thanks to the workshop led by a stand-up comedian. There were also many presentations on investment banking.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Extremely well, no delays. Everything according to the schedule given on the first day.

    • The atmosphere was great, there was no competition between the students.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • The bank certainly invests a lot in the spring programme. So many managing directors would contribute their time to meet with us.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • Having a chat with current analyst is the best way to find out how a full-time role looks like. They were plenty of opportunities to do that. Some students also had work-shadowing sessions.

    • Hotel was provided and travel expenses were reimbursed.

    • Plenty, employees would come for every single meal. There was also a networking dinner on Wednesday and drinks on Monday.
