About You
I enjoyed getting an overview of BAML as an organisation and get to know several employees of the bank.
Even though I was just a Spring Insight Week participant, the employees of the firm were always kind and answered my questions thoroughly.
During various events, the ratio of employees assisting the participants to participants was very good.
During the Insight Week, I mainly improved my networking and presentation skills. The knowledge gained will not help me during my studies.
The Company
Very good structure and always on time. Sometimes very tight schedule.
The participants were all very excited about the week and the employees were very interested in us.
To the extent that we only joined the bank for one week, it is impressive that the bank invested so many hours of hard work in training us.
We gained a comprehensive insight into the task of an FTE but of course it is impossible to experience the atmosphere during the complete working day in one week.
By talking to several employees, I was able to experience the culture and got impressed by it.
Very valuable due to the overview we gained about the different divisions and tasks.
Everything Else
The bank reimbursed travel and accommodation expenses.
We had networking drinks on Monday with several junior bankers and a networking dinner on Wednesday with several senior bankers. Moreover, the employees offered to meet them in the evenings.
You got the possibility to ask questions and get honest responses.
We heard about initiatives and volunteering but on a very broad basis.
Definitely.
