About You
The internship was very helpful. They started from the ground up, firstly building your knowledge of an investment bank and then divisions and where UBS excel. Really enjoyed this opportunity- the fellow interns were extremely easy to talk to.
Staff at all levels took time out of their busy schedules to come see us, talk to us, answer our questions and assess us ( the Friday assessment, senior staff were there all day!)
A lot. There was always chances to ask questions and make yourself heard.
Mainly knowledge our the finance industry, as well as skills for an AC.
The Company
Very organised, always had something to do. Always had suitable breaks.
Very easy and relaxed. The whole week is set up purely for you to have fun and enjoy yourself!
This was just an insight so very basic steps.
The shadowing was very useful in this regard.
Very much so. The culture at UBS is what the week was based upon. Really captureses you and makes you want to be a part of the project.
They spoke a little about other financial institutions but mainly about investment banking.
Everything Else
The hotel in which you stay is very nice!
Plenty. There was a social evening with fellow interns, as well as be able to go out with employees at the end of the day etcc.
Easy to talk to people. They're honest. They want to get to know you so make sure you can easily talk about yourself and want to talk to people about their lives.
Yes. There was an hours presentation on this, alon with questions and answers.
Definitely. If you want to learn more about the industry and UBS, this was the perfect way to find out.
