About You
I greatly enjoyed the insight, the focus was on networking with various people across the firm so that you could truly get a grasp on their culture and the nature of the work.
Greatly valued, you could see that they taken a long time to ensure that each aspect of the week was carefully planned.
All the necessary support and guidance required for a particular task was provided. Everybody was more than willing to help if we had any problems. However, they were not holding our hand as the week was meant to represent a challenging environment and display to us the work atmostphere at the same firm in the future.
It was an extremely challenging yet rewarding environment. We did various presentations over the course of the week. This helped greatly with communication as well as time-management skills as you were always pushed for time to finish the task we were given. FInally, there were a lot of group tasks which improved teamwork.
The Company
Very well structured. The start of the week was focused towards giving an overview of the bank and its role and then we chose two major lines of business, where we learnt about these in more-depth.
Very enjoyable atmosphere! All the spring interns and employees got on really well and all any people within the business were more than willing to take time out of their schedule and spend it with the interns.
Gained an insight into the daily role as a full time employee by speaking with many employees across the business as well as work shadowing during the week.
The culture is very fun and inclusive. You can clearly see that everybody enjoys their work and is incredibly good at their job.
Grealty valuable, it allowed me to spend time in my two favourite lines of within the banka nd learn more about them in depth to help aide me make a decision about my future career path.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for all appropriate expenses.
Yes a huge amount of opportunities, the highlight was the networking dinner in the middle of the week.
They were great, we went for an elaborate dinner mid-week as well as welcome drinksa at the start of the week. Networking breakfasts and lunch were provided throughout.
Yes there was presentations on corporate social responsibility and thus volunteering activities that employees can take part in. As well as employee network presentations telling us what support networks and clubs exist within the firm.
Yes I would greatly recommened the insight!
