About You
I really enjoyed the insight week, even if at times things got a bit on the dull side. The agile game and robocode challenge were fun, and while lot's of talks (and work shadowing)get a bit dull after a while they were informative nevertheless.
I felt valued by the company. Everyone was friendly and kind and very open to questions. The company made sure we were well looked after in terms of accommodation, travel and food as well. They seemed to really care for their employees and this extended to us for our sort period of time there.
We recieved plenty of guidance and support. Everyone was friendly and helpful and really willing to help us with questions and what not. There were also a lot of presentations giving guidance on the whole internship/graduate application process.
Well, I can't exactly time travel and tell you for sure, but I think what we learned about how to present ourselves and interviews and applications and all that jazz will be helpful. Also the Agile stuff as it was explained 100x better (and much more enjoyable) than our lecturers did it.
The Company
It was structured well. Even if the first and last day were all talks, I think it was necessary to do this as it gave us a good introduction and outroduction to the company and allowed for some "fun" days in between.
The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed during the whole week. The company seemed very grateful that we took time out of our holidays to find out what working for them is like and that reflected in their expectations of us. Also, in general the atmosphere there seems calm and relaxed.
There were a lot of talks during the week on personal development, and there were two big activities which centred around teamwork, agile methodology and other skills for us to develop on. The week was meant to be a learning experience, though I expected it to mostly be a company it turned out to be quite focussed on us as individuals, which was pleasantly surprising.
Very much so. We did work shadowing to see what a normal work day is like, and we heard a lot about how careers develop and opportunities. We talked to current graduates and veteran employees so got a wide range of opinions on life at the company. Also, the atmosphere of the event seemed to reflect the atmosphere of the company in general.

Very helpful. It made me realize what the kind of environment I'd like to work in the future is. It also has made me think maybe a certain sector isn't really in my interests.
Everything Else
Travel, hotel and lunch were paid for.
There were many opportunities, including two dedicated events for networking. Work shadowing also let us meet and get to know employees and every activity involved staff members who were happy to talk.

We had a presentation on it. Some employees also mentioned it while networking.
Yes I would it is a good experience for anyone wondering if the internship or graduate role is for them
