About You
The Spring into Technology week held my JP Morgan in bournemouth was extremely enjoyable with great people involved and lots of learning experiences.
Every member of staff made us all feel very welcome and were more than happy to answer questions and give us a great insight into what goes on at JP. the HR staff are hugely helpful and have a great programme of informative, fun and meaningful activities.
As previously stated the HR team were a massive help during the week, clare and her team are always more than happy to answer your questions and help you get the most out of the Spring Week. all members of staff are happy to answer questions and give you valuable insight into JP Morgan.
The skills will most defiantly be hugely for me in the future. we got a working insight into the Agile working methodology which I will most definatly be using throughout the remainder of my studies for Project and assignment work. Also I have been offered a year placement with JP Morgan, this Spring Week has given me valuable insight into working at JP and confirms for me its the place I want Work in the future after the placements and my final year.
The Company
The Spring Week was extremely well structured, Clare and the rest of the HR team ran a varied programme of presentations, Q&A panels with with recent Graduate employees and a VP panel with senior managers, a coding challenge which was both extremely fun and informative and multiple networking events so we could meet and talk to as many JP employees and other Interns as possible. all this was ran with pin point accuracy, every session ran on time and flowed well throughout the day.
Brilliant, our Spring week was along side the Spring into Operations programme so we were a varied group. everyone was really lovely and we all got on very well, the staff were also lovely and we all had a brilliant time together and we were all sad to go our separate ways at the end of the week!
The quality of the programme was of an extremely high standard, many member of staff invested their personal time to give presentations on projects and to answer our questions, also staff allowed us to shadow them and were more that happy to take the time to explain and show us what they are working on. On events such as the coding challenge JP provided outstanding levels of equipment and support throughout what was an exciting learning experience.
The Spring Week gave a very clear insight into what working at JP Morgan is like. everyone is very open and happy to discuss what the working environment is like.
Hugely, when your on campus its very clear what the Company culture is like and all members of staff are happy to talk about the culture, its defiantly one of doing first class work, as a team, developing a long and varied career and constant learning.
extremely helpful, the week only confirmed that JP Morgan is the place for me and i know can what to crack on with my placements with them!
Everything Else
I actually live locally so didn't require any expenses paid, others had travel and hotel payed for. JP also provided food and drink throughout the Week and gave us credit to purchase food, drink and items from the various on site shops and restaurants.
Yes constantly, staff were always happy to talk with us , the programme also included a number of networking events, mentors overseeing activities, staff shadowing experiences and Q&A panels with senior managers and graduate employees. Throughout the week were assigned a buddy who was a member of the graduate programme who we could talk to and could help get the most out of the week. my buddy was extremely helpful and we have remanded in contact.
Extremely enjoyable, everyone was made to feel at ease and the staff were very easy to talk to.
Yes JP has a variety activities and groups that staff can get involved in. we were told about a lot of social events that different teams hold and charitable activities that staff get involved with.
Yes without a doubt, this Spring Week is second to none and is an amazing experience for anyone to take part in, it also gives you the opportunity to secure placements early which is fantastic!
