About You
Everyday was a highlight. We were able to participate in several workshops and have heard interesting presentations about current economic topics. Being able to work shadow a graduate helped to get a better insight what it is like to work in the bank.
All the employees and especially the graduates had been very friendly, open and always keen on answering all questions. The working atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable. We had been integrated as far as it was possible.
During the whole week we were supported by our Program Management Team, which was always around and available for all questions regarding the program and helped to solve all problems.
During the week we have learned a lot about recent economic developments. This helped to get a broader understanding. We were able to connect the basic expertise, which we have learnt at university, with the current market situation. It was refreshing to see all the models in usage.
The Company
The insight was very well structured. The program contained lots of interesting workshops and presentations but provided also some free time and time for networking. The detailed program plan helped to keep up.
The general atmosphere was comfortable. The group exercises helped to get to know different people. The other participants were open-minded and interesting to talk to. The majority of the participants studied in England.
The firm invested in the participants by preparing us for the Assessment Center.
The work shadowing helped to unterstand what it would be like to have a füll time role with UBS as you were able to observe a graduate working a whole afternoon. All of them were really friendly and keen on showing you all the different tasks within their division.
Experiencing the atmosphere in the bank and learning more about the culture through several presentations helped to gain an insight in the company`s culture.
The insights program gave me a good impression about what it is like to work in a Bank. It strengthened my desire to work in a Bank.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed expenses. UBS booked the flights and the accommodation for me. Everything worked out quite well.
During the week there had been several opportunities to meet other employees and to task them several questions, Next to a networking lunch there had also been a grauduate Panel and Speed Networking, where we were able to speak to UBS employees.
The networking opportunities were great! The people had been open for any kind of questions.
There had been one presentation about the several social clubs you can join within UBS.
I would definitely recommend the insight to a friend! It was a great experience and you were able to learn a lot during the week.
