About You
Enjoyed it a lot. Well worth the time spent of the application. This is a invaluable experience!!
Very valued and respected.
Loads of guidance and support during and before the insight week. There is always someone present for further guidance during the whole day!
All skills and information developed/received will help in future applications to BAML. You also gain a better understanding of your division, the role you would like to have within it and personal and career skills.
The Company
The whole week was very well organized to allow students to gain an overview of BAML and their selected divisions.
The general atmosphere was professional and relaxed with an open door policy where you could ask all employees present any questions regarding BAML
As the week was just an insight week there wasn't really any personal training. However, the amount of investment in us was great, as there were a lot of senior people from the company speaking to us and providing everyone with the opportunity to ask questions
The insight was very useful in helping to understand what our full time role within the selected division would be. Also the work-shadowing was an excellent way of understanding the environment and the different work available in the division.
I understood the culture of Bank of America Merrill Lynch and seems to be a excellent place to work.
The content of the day was very helpful. Being able to explore a different division to your preferred one provides you with the opportunity to learn more and rethink your career path.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed travel expenses.
There were loads of opportunities through out the whole week (at least 2-3 different networking events a day).
There was always plenty of time you meet all current employees present and ask your questions. Everyone was happy to provide their contact details to keep in touch with.
There are a lot of opportunities for employees to take part in volunteering, sports and be part of a diversity network.
This Insight is really valuable for someone who knows that she would like to have a future career within the financial services industry. By the end of the week you will have had a clearer idea of the division you want to work in. I would 100% recommend this programme to other students.
