About You
The Spring into Technology week was very enjoyable, all the staff were friendly and supportive.
All the staff ensured all our needs were met.
We were given the opportunity to shadow a member of staff, this was very helpful for the assessment process.
We were given multiple seminars on building skillset.
The Company
The insight experience was well structured, each day was an exciting experience.
Very welcoming and full of energy.
The company gave us a great deal of material to help us prepare for interviews and assessment centres.
We were given many talks by various members of staff in various positions.
We were shown the relaxed nature of the company culture. The developers had a more relaxed dress code than the rest of the company, and were less strict in general, but the quality of work remained high.
Very helpful. Before this experience I was uncertain about working in finance, but this week has shown that there can be a very rewarding career in technology with J.P. Morgan.
Everything Else
There were multiple opportunities for networking everyday. We were given the opportunity to shadow and employee for the entire working day. This was a very eye opening experience where we saw how the company worked from the inside.
We were given multiple social events which were fun, relaxing and well organised! We were given multiple 'panels' which included recent graduates and vice presidents of the company. They gave career advice and answered our questions regarding the company.
Yes, there are many activities to get involved in. The company has many clubs and societies run by employees, and any employee can start a club if there is enough interest generated.
I would definitely recommend this insight to a friend! We weren't just there to shadow employees, we were given multiple opportunities to develop and present our skills, as well as valuable insight into company culture.
