The Role
Always had tasks to complete and deadlines were set. Never had nothing to do.
I got on well with all supply managers I was working with. We had lots in common, and they were easy to get on with.
Supply managers would assist me whenever I required there help.
Always had onoging projects to make progress on, and had to workplan to work to, and aims & objectives set by my manager.
Huge responsibility, as I was given a project to source a recognition gift, for all employees worldwide 4000+. I had a budget and deadlines to meet and not exceed.
I spent 2 days at a professional training centre where I gained a variety of new skilled to assist me in my final year and beyond.
The Company
very laid back, friendly employees, everybody gets on well with one another.
The placement was very well organised, I had a workplan to work towards, a learning log to complete each month, and regular performance reviews.
Before I started to job I had to pass a medical, then they were strict with the health and safety training. They invested in all placement students to go to a training centre to aquire more useful skills.

Company Parties/Events
In the past they have taken on placement students to take on a graduate course.
The Culture
Very good, we would organise all sorts of events, such as bowling and go karting. We also played 5 aside football once a week.
Stamford is an expensive area to live, the cost of living is not far behind prices in areas of London. But I commuted from home each day. So I spent more money on petrol!
Peterborough is only 10 minutes away by train so we would meet there for a night out. Stamford was good for pubs as there are a number of pubs to visit.
Many activities, I took part in a football tournament organised with all of Cummins UK plants.
