The Role
I enjoyed being given responsibility and that my project actually had a tangible impact.
The managers, with whom I worked closely, appreciated my efforts.
I had regular meetings to discuss the direction my work should take.
Fairly busy, with the project taking up all my time.
The work was relevant to the whole commercial centre and I took sole responsibility for it.
Not really relevant to my degree but it was a valuable experience.
The Company
Reasonably good.
My manager was clear with what he wanted me to do.
Was shown the ropes, didn't require too much training.
Positive, lots of opportunity.
The Culture
Met other interns at events organised by HSBC.
Lived at home.
OK.
A few.
