About You
The Insight programme was very well run. The week was very interesting, and good fun. I really enjoyed being able to have an insight into the graduate scheme and how Savills works.
I was immediately thrown into the deep-end (as it were) and was given a lot of responsibility. The team were hugely grateful for my help, where it was needed, and showed huge enthusiasm for my work.
The team were all very helpful, they let me get on with the tasks set. But all of them were extremely helpful and supportive when I needed assistance. I never felt out of place, or that I asked a stupid question.
I learnt a huge amount in such a short space of time. And the skills I developed over the week, I will keep with me forever as I progress through University and into the industry.
The Company
The week was very well structured, and a lot of thought was put into it. We were put into departments that they thought were appropriate and what they thought would interest us. However talks were put on so we got to know more about other departments and how they work. There was also a good balance of networking drinks, among ourselves and also graduates and fee earners.
I felt as though I was part of the team, everyone was very welcoming. This was a huge confidence booster, and gave me the courage to complete all the tasks thrown at me. There was a great vibe throughout the office, which made it a pleasant atmosphere to work in.
My mentor always made sure that I fully understood everything, and if not would take the time to explain.
The programme was a great insight into the firm and the day to day life of a graduate there.
The insight expanded my knowledge of the company immensely and I really got to understand how the company works, and its culture.
I now have a fuller concept of the APC and the pathways available. It has helped decide what I am not interested in and what I am.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed for travel and lunches.
The company put on 3 separate networking events throughout the 5 days.
There was a great atmosphere at all events. Everyone was very informative and welcoming, so it created a relaxing atmosphere.
Yes.
