About You
It was an intense but very informative week. Learnt a lot about how the supports function is like in RBS. Also met a lot of great people (both spring week interns and the colleagues there).
Felt very valued in the company. Graduates and everyone there in general were more than happy to answer any questions we had.
Had a lot of guidance throughout the week, it was scheduled and structured really well, except for the over run on the first day.
Developed communication, networking skills, and learned more about what working in functions (HR, risk, finance, audit) division is like to see whether I'd like to have a career in this field.
The Company
Yes, as mentioned above.
Loved the headquarters, it's an amazing building to work in. People were all very friendly and extremely willing to help even though they were busy.
Not much training was given, but we had the opportunity to shadow graduates from different divisions, in which I learned a lot from.
Yes, it helped me a lot in understanding what it's like working in the company. Love the atmosphere, culture and how people worked together there.
Very much. This was definitely seen throughout the week.
Quite valuable
Everything Else
not paid but reimbursed travel, food and accommodation expenses
Quite a few, especially one the days where we had job shadowing.
Not many networking opportunities, only those in job shadowing. There was no social event for talking with graduates
Yes, they do CSR
Yes, definitely.
