  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Many job shadowing opportunities and taught me a lot more about the bank, its values and the financial services industry in general.

    • Most of the time. Sometimes, during job shadowing I felt like a burden.

    • We always had a guidance and there were always employees to answer our questions.

    • A lot. It really enhanced my understanding of the bank and its values.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured. Schedules were well-set.

    • Excellent amongst other Spring Interns. However, RBS employees could have showed a bit more interest in their Spring Interns.

    • Quite a bit, many skills and networking sessions.

    • The job shadowing opportunities gave us a good overview. However, we weren't able to rotate through all desks due to time constraints.

    • Very helpful. Gave a good insight into the industry and types of roles within CIB.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • There were organised sessions, however there were barely any RBS employees present at these events.

    • There should have been more RBS employees present during the networking sessions and CSR.

    • Yes, there were organised lunches to learn more about these roles.
